NEW MASTERCLASS: JUNE 20th, 2022
Blending Mixed Botanicals
Meet Brenna:
Brenna Quan approaches floristry from a creative standpoint. Her artistic expression developed in her early life, studying dance and theatre, which eventually landed her on stages across the United States and Canada as a professional dancer. During this time, she also discovered the emotional connection between flowers & the human spirit, making her keen on developing this other art form.
Now an award-winning floral artist and educator based in Vancouver, Canada, she is recognized for her detailed design work in public exhibitions such as Fleurs de Villes, as well as imaginative pieces shared in demonstrations, on her social media platform and in various floral art book compilations. As a competitor, some notable accolades include 1st place in the 2016 & 2019 Pacific NW Design Competitions, 1st place in the 2019 Maple Leaf Cup & the runner-up in 2016’s Gateway to the Americas Cup, representing Canada. She was invited once again to be a representative of Canada for the 2022 Gateway competition in Orlando, Florida this summer, in tandem with the 2022 Maple Leaf Cup.
An active member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, Brenna has been a main stage presenter at the 2016 AIFD National Symposium “Inspiration” in Anaheim, CA and is delighted to be featuring the Hawaii Floriculture & Nursery Association (HFNA) onstage for “Roots” in Las Vegas. She has been a contributor for Florists’ Review magazine, the Fleurvana Summits and other educational video series. Knowledge sharing, inspiring creativity and evolving her style and design methods keep her energized!
